Artistic Aesthetics and Styling of Aso-Ofi
Aso-Ofi is a distinctive Nigerian textile known for its unique handwoven patterns and cultural significance. Originating from the Yoruba people of southwestern Nigeria, Aso-Ofi fabrics are traditionally made from locally sourced cotton and dyed with natural pigments, showcasing intricate designs that reflect regional craftsmanship and heritage. Aso-Oke and Aso-Ofi are traditional Nigerian textiles originating from different regions. Aso-Oke comes from southwestern Nigeria and is known for its intricate patterns and use during special occasions, symbolizing cultural identity and prestige. Aso-Ofi, from northern Nigeria, features simpler designs and is valued for its durability, suitable for both everyday wear and ceremonies. Each textile reflects unique regional craftsmanship and cultural significance within Nigerian traditions.
Fashion Pageantry, Chidimma Adetshina decides to quit pageantry, she reveals this choice in an interview with Silverbird. Adetshina shares that pageantry has been a traumatic experience for her and will like to quit for personal reasons. She also shares that she will be relocating from South Africa to Nigeria.
“People still don’t understand how I felt. There were times when I almost quit during the Miss Universe contest. I’m really done with pageantry. I want to focus on myself and establish who I am. And forward my education as well.”
The pageant just won first runner up as Miss Nigeria in the Miss Universe beauty Competition and amid her victory she reveals that she will focus on other things.

He talks about the importance of the event and how it is beneficial to the economy. This event will create job opportunities and will impact Osun state economy and creativity. The day for this event will be held on the 30th of November, 2024.
The fashion week will be a week full of unique, modern and cultured designs to showcase Nigeria’s rich heritage.
