Peter Schmeichel “Tuchel Would Be Ideal for Man United”

Published

on

Former Manchester United goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel believes Thomas Tuchel would be a great fit for the club. He also expressed his support for current manager Erik ten Hag, who faces significant pressure due to the team’s poor performance this season.

After a goalless draw with Aston Villa, Ten Hag’s side currently sits in 14th place in the Premier League. On the *Seaman Says* podcast with Betway, Schmeichel said, “Tuchel was at Chelsea and Bayern Munich during tough times. I really like him. I’ve seen him in the Champions League, and he interacts well with players. He seems like a manager who would thrive at Manchester United.”

However, Schmeichel emphasized that he remains committed to supporting Ten Hag, saying, “He is still the manager, and I want the club to succeed. If things don’t improve, then we can discuss a change.” Tuchel is currently without a job after leaving Bayern Munich a few months ago.
