Seyi Law Sees No Competition in Comedy, Values Respect
Popular comedian Oluwaseyitan Aletile, known as Seyi Law, believes he has no competition in the comedy industry, viewing established figures like Alibaba, Julius Agwu, Basketmouth, and AY as mentors rather than rivals. In a recent episode of Hip TV’s “Trending,” he highlighted the respect he has for these icons, noting that, as a Yoruba person, he cannot compete with those who have supported him in his career.
Seyi Law emphasized that he does not care about rankings among comedians, stating, “At one point in the comedy industry, there were no conflicts or reasons to categorize comedians.” He expressed his appreciation for the opportunities he has had to collaborate with these legends, insisting that respect is essential in the industry. Ultimately, he prefers to focus on mutual success rather than engage in competition, emphasizing the importance of ensuring the comedy industry continues to thrive.

The singer took to his social media page, X, to share “I have experienced some dangerous women in this life.” Before this the singer already stated that he is in search of heartbreak as inspiration for his next album.
