Napoli striker Victor Osimhen is set to undergo medical checks with the Serie A side ahead of their pre-season campaign. The Nigerian forward is widely expected to leave the club this summer, but no deal has been sealed yet.

Despite heavy interest, Osimhen has turned down several offers from Saudi Pro League giants Al Hilal as he remains keen on staying in Europe. The 26-year-old spent last season on loan at Turkish champions Galatasaray, where he impressed with 37 goals and eight assists, helping them clinch both the Super Lig title and the Turkish Cup.

According to reports from Le Marca Sports, Osimhen will return to Napoli for pre-season preparations, with medical tests scheduled for July 14 and 15, which is standard for returning players. Unless a transfer happens before then, he is expected to join Napoli’s pre-season activities.
