Super Eagles captain Wilfred Ndidi is grieving the loss of his father. It was reported that the footballer’s father passed away following a road accident in Delta State.

Ndidi took to social media to mourn his loss, sharing an emotional message as he recalled moments before the tragic incident. He wrote:

“You called me this morning with excitement in your voice, but deep down, na goodbye you dey tell me. What about the things we talked about? So we no go talk again, na only memories? Even when I scored my first-ever national team goal, I did that papilo dance for you, but you just go like that.”
