‘I Was In A Very Dark Place’ — Tekno Opens Up About Health Battle
Nigerian singer Tekno has spoken about why he has been absent from the music scene. It can be noted that it has been a while since fans last heard from the singer.
During a recent interview, he revealed that he suffered from a vocal cord issue caused by acid reflux. The condition affected his voice and prevented him from singing for a long time.
He shared that while recovering, people misunderstood his situation.
“Even the people closest to me were saying that ‘he is just lazy. He doesn’t want to perform.’ I was in a very dark place. Even after I recovered, I hated music. I didn’t want to hear music for a long time. I was only forcing myself to do music because I had a deal with Universal.”

Toolz Defends Her Comments on Marriage and In-Laws
Media personality Toolz has defended her earlier comments about marriage and in-laws.
It can be recalled that she previously advised that if your potential in-laws do not like you, you should reconsider the marriage.
“I’ve seen the different takes on what I said on @themorayoshow and I still fully stand by it. I genuinely believe it’s important that your partner’s parents like you. Or at the very least, respect you.”
She added “Because if they don’t, it’s a battle the incoming partner rarely wins. Best-case scenario: your partner chooses you and ends up estranged from their parents. And while ‘it’s us against the world’ might sound romantic, that’s a heavy burden for any relationship to carry.”
