Dolly Parton’s sister, Stella Parton, has revealed the last thing the country music icon asked of her before she died on August 25.

Speaking in an interview on CBS Mornings, Stella shared that Dolly’s final request was for prayer.

Stella also opened up about Dolly’s private battle with cancer, revealing that the singer was willing to try experimental drugs because she hoped they could help others.

She also shared that Dolly was prepared and at peace with her death, saying she believed she was going to be with their parents.

Stella explained that Dolly kept her cancer diagnosis private because she did not want to make her fans and the public worried or sad. She added that Dolly would have been happy with the amount of love people have shown her following her death.

While Blessing shared “This is 5! What a ride. I have no words other than gratitude to God, our anchor, our rock and our refuge. Waking up and getting to continue doing life with my whole heart right beside me is a dream; a reality I would forever be grateful for,” she wrote.

Nigerian singer, Simi, praises her husband, Adekunle Gold, and speaks on the recent attention he has been getting. She shared that whatever fame or attention he is getting now, there was much effort behind it.

She shared, “Whatever attention my husband is getting is as a result of the work he has put in. Whatever era he is in is my favorite era. It makes him desirable to me.”
