Why Layi Wasabi Prefers Partnerships Over Girlfriends
Isaac Olayiwola, popularly known as Layi Wasabi, a Nigerian skit maker, content creator, and actor, shared his unique views on relationships during an episode of the ‘Is This Seat Taken?’ podcast with host Chinasa Anukam.
He explained that he does not believe in the concept of having a “girlfriend,” preferring instead to use the term “partnership.”
Wasabi emphasized the importance of courtship, stating, “I don’t believe in the concept of a girlfriend. I believe in partnership. I don’t believe in that phase of girlfriends.
I start with courtship. I have to see the wife in the person from the beginning.” This approach, he believes, helps him identify wifely qualities from the start.
Host Chinasa Anukam commented on Wasabi’s focused perspective, acknowledging its validity.
Wasabi also revealed that he has only been on four dates and expressed his preference for tall women, noting that height is the first thing he notices about them.
