Lizzo Defends Weight Loss Journey Amid Ozempic Rumors
While many in Hollywood are turning to Ozempic for weight loss, Lizzo, the singer of “Truth Hurts,” emphasizes that her journey is different. She has been sharing her fitness transformation on social media, posting workout videos and healthy eating tips.
After losing weight, she faced both praise and skepticism about her methods. In response to the rumors, she expressed her frustration on Instagram, saying, “When you finally get Ozempic allegations after 5 months of weight training and calorie deficit.”
Lizzo also reacted to a follower’s comment questioning whether she used Ozempic or drugs, retorting, “whyyyy do u follow me?” Additionally, she shared clips of her journey with audio from Nicki Minaj stating, “The fact that you would even discuss my looks is insane,” captioning it “FINE BOTH WAYS.” In another video, she declared, “NOT SKINNY IM FHICK,” blending “fat” and “thick.” Despite facing criticism for her body positivity stance, Lizzo remains unapologetic in celebrating her body.
Nigerian actor Tobi Makinde has reacted to rumours circulating about his relationship with Funke Akindele.
It can be noted that reports claimed the two were no longer on speaking terms and had grown apart.
However, the actor has dismissed the rumours, stating that nothing has changed between them and that social media is making assumptions.
“Nothing really happened between me and Madam Funke, and I am not aware of any fallout. Social media likes constructing their own script, and when they are done, they start looking for people to fill in the character they want.”
Nigerian singer Ayra Starr has shared her views on faith and religion. She explained that her relationship with God is personal and not solely based on church attendance, but something she works on daily.
“I can only try to be as perfect as Jesus is. I am not there yet, but I’m trying my best. I have a very close relationship with God and the Holy Spirit, and it doesn’t come with me only being in church.”
She added “Everything that comes with religion can feel limiting. I have found a way that works for me, and I am fine with it for now.”
Popular rapper Cardi B has issued a strong warning to individuals who stole and used her credit card.
It can be noted that the rapper had earlier expressed her frustration on social media after discovering her card was stolen and used before it could be frozen.
She later revealed that the stores where the transactions occurred captured clear images of the suspects, and she intends to pursue justice.
“I got clear pictures of you all in Saks and in Apple. One thing about me is that I don’t play with my money. You all are going to jail,”.
