Moana 2 Trailer Released: Premiering November 27

Disney has given fans a sneak peek at Moana 2, with the second full trailer dropping on Thursday. The trailer features a new song titled “We’re Back,” which showcases the return of Moana (voiced by Auliʻi Cravalho) and demigod Maui (voiced by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson). The sequel is set to release on November 27, just in time for Thanksgiving.
In this installment, Moana embarks on a quest to find a hidden island in order to lift a curse that has affected her home in Oceania. She will confront a variety of creatures led by Matangi, a fearsome goddess from the underworld. Initially envisioned as a Disney+ series due to pandemic restrictions, Moana 2 has been transformed into a feature film. Additionally, a live-action adaptation of the original *Moana* is slated for release in 2026.
