Rihanna Calls Motherhood an “Olympic Sport” as a Boy Mom
Rihanna, the globally renowned singer and entrepreneur, recently opened up about her experiences as a mother, describing it as a unique and challenging journey.
The 36-year-old superstar, who is now a mother of two, playfully referred to the role of being a “boy mom” as an Olympic sport, highlighting the demanding yet rewarding nature of raising her sons.
She made this lighthearted remark while sharing a video on her X handle featuring her first son, RZA, attempting to climb out of his baby cot.
After several determined efforts, the young boy finally managed to escape, showcasing both his persistence and energy.
Rihanna captioned the clip with a humorous note: “Being a boy mom is an Olympic sport.”
Rihanna and her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky, welcomed their first child, RZA, on May 19, 2022.
The birth came nearly a year after the couple publicly confirmed their relationship, marking a new chapter in their lives.
In August 2023, the couple expanded their family with the arrival of their second son, Riot Ross.
Despite rumors earlier this year suggesting that the Fenty Beauty founder was expecting her third child, Rihanna dispelled the speculation in an interview with ET.
However, she expressed her openness to having more children in the future.
Reflecting on her hopes for a daughter, she shared with Interview Magazine that she would “definitely” like to try for a girl, though she is equally content with her growing family of boys.
“I don’t know what God has planned, but I’m willing to have more than two kids.
I would love to try for a girl, but if it’s another boy, I’ll embrace it wholeheartedly,” Rihanna stated.
This is the video that has her calling having a boy child an “Olympic sport”.
