FCT Police Dismiss Alleged Kidnapping Plot at University of Abuja
The FCT Police Command has refuted rumors of an alleged planned abduction at the University of Abuja, circulating online.
In a statement, spokesperson SP Josephine Adeh labeled the reports as baseless, spread by rumor mongers to instill fear among FCT residents and the university community.
Adeh reassured the public that adequate security measures have been deployed across the Federal Capital Territory, including the university, and urged vigilance, encouraging residents to report suspicious activities to the police using provided emergency contacts.

Sokoto Government Commends Soldiers for Foiling Bandit Ambush in Sabon Birni
Sokoto State government hails soldiers for foiling an attempted ambush that was planned by suspected bandits in Sabon Birni Local Government Area.
A statement was released by the Special Adviser to Governor Ahmed Aliyu on Security Matters, Col. Ahmed Usman (rtd), who revealed that an attempted ambush was planned to target traders traveling from Tarah village to Sabon Birni. However, their plans were thwarted after the Nigerian Armed Forces intervened.
“The swift response, professionalism, and courage displayed by our military personnel once again reaffirm their commitment to protecting the lives and property of our people.”
He then warned “Anyone aiding or abetting criminal activity will face the full weight of the law.”

Tinubu Praises Nigerian Armed Forces for Defending Democracy in Benin
Nigerian President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, breaks silence and applauds the Nigerian armed forces for aiding and supporting in a coup that was about to happen in Benin Republic.
He praised the soldiers for being able to back the Benin forces as they fought against the coup.

Tinubu Confirms Release of 100 Abducted Students in Niger State
Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu confirmed that 100 students have been released from the abduction incident in Niger State.
He praised the security agencies for being able to rescue that many students and applauded their efforts.
“I have been briefed on the safe return of 100 students from the Catholic School in Niger State.
I rejoice with Governor Umar Bago and commend our security agencies for their steadfast work in ensuring the safe return of the students to their families since the unfortunate incident on November 21.”
