Abraham’s journey in international football took a pivotal turn in 2017 when the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) made attempts to persuade him to represent the Super Eagles.

However, after careful consideration, he ultimately decided to commit his international career to the England national team.

Since making his competitive debut in 2020 against the Czech Republic, Abraham has earned 11 caps and netted three goals for the Three Lions, solidifying his place in the squad.

Despite his choice to represent England, Abraham’s fondness for Nigeria is undeniable.
