Ola Aina “Winning Trophy with Super Eagles Is My Ultimate Goal”

Super Eagles defender Ola Aina believes that winning a trophy with the national team would be the highlight of his football career. The Nottingham Forest player was part of the squad that narrowly lost to Ivory Coast 2-1 in the final of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in February 2024.

Ahead of the Super Eagles’ 2025 AFCON qualifier against Libya, Aina spoke with Dangolo. He emphasized the honor of representing Nigeria, saying, “Playing for the Super Eagles is a privilege and a dream for many Nigerians. I am always grateful to be selected.”

Aina expressed his desire to win a trophy with the national team, whether it’s the World Cup or the Africa Cup of Nations. He stated, “Winning with the current Super Eagles squad would be my greatest achievement.”
