The Federal Government has reassured citizens of better days ahead as it continues implementing key policies to strengthen the economy.

Since President Bola Ahmed Tinubu took office last year, significant reforms such as fuel subsidy removal and naira floatation have been introduced, leading to short-term economic challenges, including inflation and rising fuel prices.

Speaking at the 30th Nigerian Economic Summit, Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Atiku Bagudu, acknowledged the difficulties but expressed optimism about the future. He highlighted early signs of improvement, including GDP growth and a stabilizing external trade balance, signaling that the government’s efforts are starting to yield results.

Bagudu stressed the need for sustained collaboration to overcome years of under-investment, reaffirming the government’s commitment to its economic recovery agenda.
