Bnxn and Rema Unite for New Single “Fi Kan We Kan”

Nigerian Afrobeats stars Bnxn and Rema have teamed up for their first collaboration, a new single titled “Fi Kan We Kan,” released by EMPIRE. The track features an infectious rhythm and themes of perseverance and unity, making it a perfect anthem for celebrations.

Produced by Blaizebeats, it emphasizes accountability and the importance of paying debts on time. Bnxn opens with a smooth verse, expressing frustration over wasted time. He highlights loyalty, stating, “If you don’t say you’re for me, it’s no guarantee, I no fit say you be my padi.”

Rema follows with an energetic verse that elevates the song even more. “Fi Kan We Kan” is poised to become a holiday favorite and will have a video directed by award-winning filmmaker Meji Alabi. Popular Nollywood actor Richard Mofe-Damijo, popularly known as RMD reveals why he dislikes the description “legend”.

In his recent appearance on Curiosity Made Me Ask podcast, the actor stated that he thinks being called a legend is a scam.

“I think the legend of a thing is a scam, I have my legends like Uncle Pete and Uncle Olu Jacobs; these are our ancestors and legends.

“I have been watching him (Olu Jacobs) when he was saying Ribena children are the healthy children. So I don’t subscribe to being called legend and when they call me that I feel they are trying to relegate me to neighbourhood of retired people or those nearing retirement.”

Tunde Onakoya Aims to Break World Record for Longest Chess Marathon

Nigerian Chess Player Tunde Onakoya sets himself in preparation for a challenge to break the world record for the longest chess marathon.

The chess player aims to reach 70 hours in New York City, from the 17th of April to 20th. The last score noted for the world break is 61 hours.

Onakoya will partner up with U.S. National Chess Master Shawn Martinez to break the world record.

He then speaks on his goal after breaking the world record “My goal is to inspire the world and secure resources to create a massive, tuition-free school for Nigeria’s homeless kids.”
