Southampton boss Russell Martin believes many English coaches are capable of managing the national team following the appointment of Thomas Tuchel as England’s new coach. Tuchel, a former Chelsea and Bayern Munich manager, will take over from Gareth Southgate in January, making him the third foreign manager for England.

Leicester boss Steve Cooper and Everton’s Sean Dyche echoed these sentiments, acknowledging the challenges faced by English coaches in today’s football landscape.
