Vee: “I’ve Never Been Truly in Love”
BBNaija star Vee recently opened up about her views on love, admitting that she has never truly experienced it. In an interview with the *Dear Ife* podcast, she explained that genuine love requires complete trust and vulnerability, which she feels she hasn’t achieved yet. “I don’t think I’ve ever been in love,” she stated. “To fully enjoy love, you must let down your guard and trust someone completely. While I’ve loved someone, I don’t think I’ve ever been blindly in love.”
Vee acknowledged that she can overlook some red flags in a partner, but she has a zero-tolerance policy for dishonesty. “Everyone has their red flags, but one major dealbreaker for me is lying,” she said. She shared a troubling incident where another woman contacted her with claims about her partner’s infidelity.
This woman alleged that her partner had been sending intimate photos and expressed a desire to test their relationship. When Vee confronted her partner about it, he denied the allegations, attributing the situation to others accessing his account. Vee felt something was off and concluded, “You can always sense when someone is lying.”
