Despite being born in 2002, the rising star revealed that her hectic schedule has left her feeling far older than her years.

In a candid conversation during her visit to Nairobi, Kenya, Ayra Starr reflected on how she often meets people born in the 90s who appear more youthful and energetic than she feels.

“I’ve met people who were born in the 90s, and they’re so vibrant and full of life.

Meanwhile, I feel old, and I was just born in 2002,” she admitted, expressing her exhaustion from the fast-paced life of an artist.

As she continues to grow as an artist, she finds herself more in tune with her musical path.

“The more I make music, the more I recognize what my path is and what I’m trying to do,” she explained, indicating that her journey as a musician is a constant process of discovery and self-awareness.
