Andre Harriman-Annous Reveals His Nationality

Andre Harriman-Annous, Famous Arsenal Player reveals his nationality. He shares that his mum and dad are from both Nigeria and Ghana, while Andre was born in England. Andre has hinted to be a representative to the national teams of Nigeria, Ghana and England.

He is eligible to play for the Super Eagles, the Black Stars, and England, as he holds nationalities from all three. “My family background is African,” Harriman-Annous told Arsenal’s website. “My mum is from Nigeria and my dad is Ghanaian.”

“When I was around five or six, I started to develop and I was playing for a local team called Whetstone Wanderers. “At around seven I was scouted for the Tottenham pre-academy and I was there for a year or so, but then Arsenal and I have been here ever since, which is a dream come true because I’m an Arsenal fan!”

He shared an update on Saka and stated that he is doing better after going through a hip injury. “His hip is improving a lot. Hopefully, he’ll be ready soon.”

He added about the other team members: “Martin is getting better and will be back in a few days, and Jurrien is fit for the weekend.”

He shared that the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is hopeful about hearing from them after they submitted a petition against the Democratic Republic of Congo.

“I mean we’re still waiting, well hopefully we can go to the World Cup, but I feel it’s a tough one.

“It’s a tough one because winning AFCON is like… It’s a great legacy, it’s a great thing to have in your career, a memorable moment. But then at the same time, because I’ve been to the World Cup already, a lot of the players haven’t been.”
