Enzo Maresca Explains Exclusion Of Enzo Fernandez From Team
Chelsea manager, Enzo Maresca admits to leaving out Enzo Fernandes from his team, due to the beneficial partnership of Romeo Lavia and Moises Caicedo in terms of strength. Maresca expresses that the duo provides more benefits than Fernandes.
“First of all it’s a matter of balance. I think in this moment Romeo [Lavia] and Moi [Caicedo], they give us also physicality, strength in the middle, and this is the reason why we put the option Malo [Gusto] in the pocket, otherwise when we play with Enzo.”
“I know that you are looking for some different reason for Enzo, but for Enzo it’s very simple, he’s not playing in this moment, we have so many games, he’s going to play for sure in the future, now he’s not going to, he’s not playing, that doesn’t man that he’s not going to play in two days.”
