Lagos to Close 11 Major Roads for Lagos Women Run on Saturday
The Lagos State Government will close 11 key roads on Lagos Island and Victoria Island for the Lagos Women Run on Saturday, November 9.
Commissioner for Transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, announced on Thursday that the closures, including routes from Tafawa Balewa Square through Outer Marina, Bonny Camp Bridge, and Onikan Roundabout, aim to ease movement for the event.
Alternative routes have been designated for motorists heading to the Third Mainland Bridge and Ikoyi. LASTMA, NPF, FRSC, and LSNC officers will be stationed along the route to manage traffic. The government encourages motorists to remain patient during the temporary closure for the race.
