Evangelist Ebuka Obi Reveals Three Life Vows That Shaped His Ministry
Evangelist Ebuka, founder of the Zion Prayer Movement, recently shared the three life promises he made to God before starting his ministry.
In an open discussion, Obi recounted the impactful guidance he received from Reverend Father Luke Odinkemmelu.
This prophet helped him during his youth and advised him on principles to help him maintain God’s grace and power.
One of the core commitments Obi made was to remain a virgin until marriage.
The prophet explained how Reverend Father Luke encouraged him to avoid sexual relations before marriage
Also, the teachings help that this dedication would help preserve his spiritual strength and allow God’s grace to flow fully in his life.
“He told me that to sustain God’s grace, I must not sleep with a woman until marriage,” Obi shared.
He has remained true to his word and intends to keep this promise until he marries.
Ebuka Obi also revealed that Reverend Father Luke discouraged him from opening his church, advising instead to stay within the Catholic Church, where he was raised.
The priest reportedly saw a vision of Obi speaking to millions of people and guided him to pursue a calling that didn’t include starting a traditional church.
Obi took this advice seriously, structuring the Zion Prayer Movement Outreach as a prayer ground rather than a church.
Unlike many religious leaders, he does not perform baptisms or officiate weddings, emphasizing that his ministry is purely for prayer and spiritual guidance.
The third promise he made was to avoid becoming money-focused.
Father Luke had urged him to let his work be about serving people rather than profit, cautioning that material concerns could interfere with his spiritual path.
Inspired by this message, Obi committed to leading a life focused on prayer, guidance, and faith, rather than financial gain.
Through these vows, Evangelist Obi believes he has been able to build a ministry that impacts countless people.
