Amotekun Corps Arrests Auxiliary Nurse for Alleged Motorcycle and Clothes Theft in Ondo
The Ondo State Security Network Agency, known as the Amotekun Corps, has arrested Jimoh Akeem, a 25-year-old auxiliary nurse, for alleged theft in Ondo town.
Akeem, who confessed to stealing motorcycles, clothes, and generators, was apprehended at the Corps headquarters in Akure.
Akeem admitted to stealing motorcycles from compounds at night, avoiding direct confrontation with owners.
He revealed he had a buyer in Abeokuta, who purchased stolen motorcycles for N450,000 each, and aso-oke clothes sold to other buyers for N300,000 per transaction. He confessed to being a repeat offender, having been previously arrested by the Amotekun Corps.
Currently working at Ogunye Hospital, Akeem expressed no specific reason for his actions, disclosing that his latest arrest marked the second time he had been caught for theft.

Isaac Fayose Criticizes Government Over Taxation and Insecurity

Concern Grows Over Rising Insecurity Following Kwara Abduction Case
It was reported that bandits were seen in Kwara State and abducted six residents from Rukpete Village.
The incident was reported to have occurred on June 8 at about 11 p.m.
Sources revealed that seven people were initially taken, but an elderly man was later released, leaving six victims in captivity.
