“Respect The Ones Before You” – Kizz Daniel Refuses To Disrespect Wizkid
Popular Nigerian singer Kizz Daniel recently explained why he would never diss his senior colleague Wizkid, despite playful prodding from Davido’s 30BG fanbase on social media.
The discussion began when Kizz Daniel engaged with fans on social platforms, where he was urged by some members of 30BG, a loyal fanbase for Davido, to take a jab at Wizkid in light of the ongoing, friendly rivalry between Wizkid and Davido.
During this interaction, a fan using the handle @TUMMYOF30BG expressed admiration for Kizz Daniel, reminding him of the love and support that the 30BG fanbase has for him.
The fan wrote, “Bro, but 30BG love you sha. Just know that.”
In response, Kizz Daniel acknowledged the unique qualities of both fanbases, saying, “Then let 30BG show it.
Y’all are rugged and hyped, Vaddicts are calculative and wise—perfect blend.”
As the interaction continued, another 30BG fan, @continentalBoy2, directly urged Kizz Daniel to “diss Wizkid” to see his reaction.
Rather than respond with humor or criticism, Kizz Daniel turned to a more thoughtful response. He expressed that it would be disrespectful to target artists like Wizkid, who have set the stage for the current generation of musicians.
Kizz Daniel stated, “I bet 30BG will love this. Na Machala and Baddest workings most of us dey enjoy now; it will be unwise, my brother.
Respect the ones before you.”
