President Bola Tinubu has approved a restructuring of the State House media and communications team to improve the efficiency of the government’s communication strategy.

According to a statement shared by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, on his X handle, the President has re-designated the roles of two key officials in the team.

Sunday Dare, previously announced as Special Adviser on Public Communication and National Orientation, will now serve as Special Adviser on Media and Public Communications.

Daniel Bwala, who was recently named Special Adviser on Media and Public Communication, has been reassigned as Special Adviser on Policy Communication.

This restructuring also highlights a new approach where all three Special Advisers—Media and Public Communications, Policy Communication, and Information and Strategy—will act as collective spokespersons for the Presidency.
