Cristiano Ronaldo recently responded to a bold comment about his age during a conversation with popular YouTuber Jimmy Donaldson, widely known as MrBeast.
The exchange took place during a video collaboration, where the American internet sensation joked about Ronaldo’s age, implying that at nearly 40 years old, he might be approaching the end of his life.
MrBeast playfully remarked, “Almost 40! You’re about to die, what’s it like?”
Ronaldo assured his fans and critics alike that he plans to live a long life, stating, “I’m going to live until I’m 100, just to let you know.”
The Portuguese superstar also took the opportunity to address perceptions of age in football.
He explained that while many players retire in their early to mid-thirties, he views football as a career that can be extended with the right mindset and physical conditioning.
“In football, this is a long career because most of the time they retire at 33, 34, or 36,” Ronaldo said, emphasizing his longevity and commitment to the sport.
Ronaldo has consistently defied expectations throughout his illustrious career.
From his early days at Sporting CP to his historic stints at Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus, he has maintained a level of fitness and performance that many players his age can only dream of.
Now excelling at Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner continues to break records and inspire millions worldwide.
