Bolanle Ninalowo, a celebrated Nollywood actor, has opened up about his decision to support his teenage daughter, Aliyah, in piercing her navel.

During a conversation with media personality VJ Adams, Ninalowo delved into the close bond he shares with his daughter, who recently turned 18.

He revealed that Aliyah had initially expressed a desire to pierce her tongue. However, he admitted feeling uncomfortable with the idea and suggested an alternative.

In a video that has now gone viral, Ninalowo explained his reasoning.

He shared that he ultimately allowed Aliyah to pierce her navel, seeing it as a less permanent and less intrusive choice compared to a tongue piercing.

According to him, a navel ring is something that can be easily removed if she changes her mind later in life, making it a compromise he felt comfortable with.

The actor, known for his roles in hit movies like Picture Perfect and Breaded Life, emphasized the importance of building trust and understanding with his daughter.

He wanted Aliyah to know that he respects her autonomy while still offering guidance.

To demonstrate his support, Ninalowo personally drove her to the piercing studio and even covered the cost of the procedure himself.

Speaking fondly about their relationship, Ninalowo said that fostering an open line of communication with Aliyah has always been a priority for him.
