The couple, who welcomed their son Kareem Kenkaide Hayne on July 18, are overjoyed at expanding their family. Ashanti, reflecting on meeting her newborn for the first time, described the moment as “emotional and spiritual.”

Nelly, 50, and Ashanti, 44, have shared a long history, initially meeting at a Grammy press conference in 2003. The duo collaborated on music, dated for a decade, and reunited romantically in 2023 after a public split in 2013.

Their rekindled romance took a significant turn when they secretly tied the knot on December 27, 2023, in St. Louis, Missouri. Fans now celebrate the next chapter in their enduring love story.

The incident was reported to have occurred on June 8 at about 11 p.m.
