Nigerian singer Ruger has opened up about his experiences and struggles with romantic relationships, revealing that they often don’t work out for him despite his natural inclination toward love.

During an interview with Naija FM, Ruger described himself as a “lover boy” but admitted that staying committed in relationships has been challenging.

According to him, he initially approaches relationships with serious intentions, but his interest tends to fade over time.

“I’m naturally a lover boy,” he shared, “but I’ve realized now that relationships just don’t seem to work for me.

When I meet a girl, my first thought is to get serious with her, but after a while, I lose that seriousness and become distant.”

“To me, it feels like we’re working together. I don’t see it going beyond the stage.”

Known for his hits like Bounce and Asiwaju, Ruger has gained a loyal fan base, particularly among young women, thanks to his unique style and vibrant performances.

Despite his popularity, the singer maintains boundaries in his personal and professional life, choosing to focus on his music career rather than romantic entanglements.
