Davido Reveals His Father Told Him “You Can’t Question God” During Tough Times

Nigerian music Artist David Adeleke, better known as Davido, recently shared a heartfelt revelation about how his father’s teachings about faith in God have played a crucial role in his life.
In a revealing podcast conversation with Rollingout, Davido opened up about his Christian upbringing and the profound influence his father’s religious guidance has had on him, especially during difficult times.
Davido reflected on his early life, growing up in a Christian home where his father, a successful businessman and an elder in the Seventh-day Adventist Church, instilled in him the importance of faith and trust in God.
He recalled the lessons that shaped his worldview, particularly the belief that challenges should never make one lose faith in God’s plan.
“I was raised in the church, attending services regularly and studying at a Christian college.
My dad was always firm about the idea that you can never question God, no matter the hardships you face,” Davido shared.
“At first, I struggled to understand this concept. It didn’t make sense to me—why do bad things happen to good people?
But my dad’s wisdom stayed with me, even when I couldn’t fully grasp it.”
The turning point for Davido came after the tragic loss of his son, Ifeanyi, a heartbreaking event that left him devastated.
He spoke about the overwhelming pain he experienced and how he questioned life itself during that period.
However, as time went by, Davido saw his father’s lessons take on new meaning.
He shared how, after this period of immense grief, blessings began to flow in unexpected ways.
“After losing Ifeanyi, life seemed unfair, and I was lost in my sorrow. But then, just a year later, my life took an incredible turn.
We were blessed with twins, my music reached new heights, and I received my first Grammy nominations.
I began to understand what my dad meant,” he explained.
“It’s been a hard journey, but I’ve learned that even in our darkest times, there’s always light ahead, and God’s plan is bigger than what we can see in the moment.”

Drake Shares Painful Loss After Gambling Away Over $124 Million in Just One Month

Drake has reportedly lost a jaw-dropping $124 million to gambling in just one month. The Canadian rap star posted a screenshot of his massive losses on the betting platform Stake through his Instagram story, giving fans a glimpse into the downside of his high-stakes lifestyle.
“Gotta share the other side of gambling… Losses are so fried right now,” he wrote. “I hope I can post a big win for you all soon cause I’m the only one that has never a max these guys max once a week.”
This isn’t the first time Drake has taken a hit. Back in August 2024, he bet $450,000 on Israel Adesanya to beat Dricus du Plessis in a UFC title fight — a gamble that didn’t go his way. Just a few months later in November, he dropped another $355,000 betting on Mike Tyson to beat Jake Paul in a boxing match, only to lose again. Drake’s betting streak may be flashy, but it’s proving to be just as costly.
