Boyomo Supports Lookman to Win 2024 CAF Men’s Player of the Year Award

Cameroon defender Flavien Enzo Boyomo has shown his support for Nigerian winger Ademola Lookman, backing him to win the 2024 CAF Men’s Player of the Year award.

Lookman, who has enjoyed a standout season, is among the five players shortlisted for the prestigious accolade.

The other nominees include Simon Adingra, Serhou Guirassy, Achraf Hakimi, and Ronwen Williams.

Boyomo, who currently plays for Spanish club Osasuna, believes that Lookman stands the best chance of winning the award this year.

He pointed to Lookman’s achievements, particularly his triumph in the Europa League, as a key factor in his confidence that the Nigerian winger will secure the African Ballon d’Or.

“He won the Europa League, and considering everything he’s accomplished this year, I truly believe he has the best chance to win the trophy,” Boyomo stated in an interview with Actu Cameroon.
