Skales Criticizes Nigerians Turning to Activists for Justice Instead of Government
Nigerian musician Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, better known as Skales, has voiced his concerns about the growing mistrust in the government.
In a post on his X handle, the singer shared his thoughts on the unfortunate reality that many citizens now feel more inclined to turn to fellow citizens, like activist VeryDarkMan (VDM), rather than government institutions for justice.
Skales expressed his disbelief, writing, “It’s crazy what is going on in Nigeria … imagine a situation where citizens can’t turn to the government for help but instead reach out to someone like VDM for justice.
It’s a sad state of affairs, but God bless and protect him.”
Activists like VeryDarkMan have emerged as voices of reason and action, often stepping in where the government falls short.
VeryDarkMan, known for his outspoken advocacy on social issues, has gained significant recognition for his efforts to expose injustices and hold those in power accountable.
