Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage recently shared her perspective on the timing of her success, attributing the delay in her career breakthrough to divine intervention.

Speaking on The Receipts podcast, the 44-year-old star opened up about her journey, emphasizing how God’s timing has played a significant role not just for her, but for others who may be facing similar struggles.

Tiwa revealed that she often questioned why she didn’t achieve fame and success in her twenties, despite her relentless efforts.

Her big break came in her thirties, a period when many people might feel like their chances are dwindling.

Reflecting on this, she now believes that this delay had a greater purpose, to serve as inspiration for young women who fear that time is running out for them.

In her words, “I feel like God did this intentionally. I used to wonder why my success was delayed.

But now, I see that it was to uplift and encourage others.

Maybe there’s a 25-year-old woman out there who feels uncertain about her future.

When she sees that my breakthrough came in my thirties, it reassures her that there’s still time to achieve her dreams.”

Tiwa Savage’s journey to stardom wasn’t an overnight success.
