After Wizkid’s monumental Grammy win, she had written a heartfelt statement celebrating the rise of Afrobeat music on the global stage.

It was a proud moment not just for Wizkid, but for the entire Afrobeat movement, which has seen incredible growth in recent years.

“I wrote a statement about how far Afrobeat has come, especially after Wizkid’s Grammy win,” she explained.

“But instead of being recognized for the professional achievements that I have worked hard for, the caption they put out was ‘Wizkid’s baby mama.’

Nigerian singer BNXN has made a claim online that has generated mixed reactions. The singer stated that living in Lagos is more expensive than living in Los Angeles, drawing from his personal experience in the United States.

Speaking about life abroad, BNXN explained that there are fewer financial obligations and requests for money compared to Nigeria, where people are often expected to support relatives and acquaintances.

“I was telling someone, since I got to the United States, I haven’t seen one egbon adugbo asking me to press money. Lagos is too expensive abeg. Lagos is more expensive than LA (Los Angeles),” BNXN stated.
