Ola Aina Earns Spot in Premier League Team of the Week
Nigeria’s defender, Ola Aina, has earned a spot in the Premier League Team of the Week following his standout performance in Nottingham Forest’s 2-0 victory over Brentford on Saturday.
The 27-year-old full-back played a key role in the win, scoring Forest’s opening goal, which helped secure the three points for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side.
This goal marked Aina’s second of the season, showcasing his growing importance to the team.
Aina has been a consistent presence in the Forest lineup, having featured in 17 league matches so far this season.
In addition to his impressive display against Brentford, Aina’s contributions have been recognized by the club, as he was named Nottingham Forest’s Player of the Month for November.
This honour reflects his strong form and commitment to the team, as well as his ability to step up when needed.
Aina’s journey to the Premier League has been one of perseverance and determination.
Having previously played for the likes of Torino in Italy’s Serie A, the Nigerian international has continued to grow and adapt to the demands of top-tier football.
