“No More Excuses, United Needs a Wake-Up Call” – Ruben Amorim
Manchester United’s manager, Rúben Amorim, has called for a wake-up call at Old Trafford, admitting the club needs a drastic change to get back on track.
Speaking after their 2-0 loss to Newcastle United in the Premier League, Amorim expressed frustration, saying he wasn’t at the club to keep making excuses.
Newcastle’s Alexander Isak and Joelinton sealed the victory in the first half, leaving Manchester United stuck in 14th place on the table.
This marks their fourth consecutive match without a win, deepening concerns about the team’s performance.
Addressing reporters after the defeat, Amorim said, “I’m not here to offer excuses every week.
This club needs a shock, and we all need to accept that things must change.”
It has been reported that Liverpool turned down the opportunity to sign Real Madrid star Vinícius Júnior.
It can be noted that two teams have set their sights on the player, and since Liverpool has backed out, Arsenal are now interested in him.
Vinícius notably only has one year left on his Real Madrid contract and could possibly transfer to another team.
It can be noted that Karim Adeyemi, a Nigerian football player, just signed with Barcelona and shared his reason behind joining the team. He stated that it was because of Hansi Flick.
He shared how he wants to contribute to the club and admires the coach for making that possible.
“Hansi Flick is the main reason why I’m here. I have spoken a lot with him and have trusted him greatly from the very first moment. I’m willing to help to achieve the objectives.”
