Kelechi Iheanacho’s Agent Denies Al Ahly Transfer Rumors
Kelechi Iheanacho’s agent, Roger Wittman, has swiftly shut down rumors linking the Nigerian forward to Egyptian football powerhouse Al Ahly ahead of the winter transfer window.
Recent reports had suggested that Al Ahly was keen on securing Iheanacho’s services, but Wittman dismissed these claims, stating that no representatives from the club had reached out to discuss the potential move.
“No one from Egypt has contacted us to talk about the footballer, so the news is completely false,” he said in an interview with AS.
Iheanacho, who made the move to La Liga side Sevilla, has found it difficult to secure a regular spot in the first team.
He is yet to make an impact, failing to register any goals or assists in his nine league appearances for the Rojiblancos.

Cristiano Ronaldo, the captain of Al-Nassr, has reportedly urged the Saudi Pro League club to sign his former teammate, Casemiro, from Manchester United.
Ronaldo and Casemiro, who played together at both Real Madrid and Manchester United, have a strong bond, and it seems Ronaldo is keen to bring the Brazilian midfielder to Al-Nassr as part of a strategy to strengthen the team.
According to reports from Marca, one of the players on Ronaldo’s wishlist is Casemiro, who joined Manchester United in 2022 for a £70 million fee.
However, Manchester United is looking to move on from Casemiro due to his £350,000-a-week salary, and they are keen to free up funds to bolster their squad for manager Ruben Amorim.

Marcus Rashford’s future at Manchester United appears uncertain as multiple clubs show strong interest in signing the England forward.
The 27-year-old has recently fallen out of favor with new manager Ruben Amorim, who has left him out of United’s matchday squads for the past five games.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, there are now “movements” surrounding Rashford’s potential departure.
Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan have both reached out to inquire about the possibility of a deal.
Additionally, Turkish champions Galatasaray have expressed interest in the winger.
However, Romano also pointed out that Rashford is currently focused on exploring options in Europe’s top five leagues, despite Galatasaray’s approach.
Dortmund and Milan are continuing to monitor the situation, with further discussions expected.
