Kai Crampton Joins Bournemouth as Aniek Nouwen Signs New Chelsea Deal
Chelsea Football Club has announced that academy goalkeeper Kai Crampton has completed a permanent move to Bournemouth.
The transfer was confirmed on Monday through an official statement on the club’s website.
Crampton, who joined Chelsea at the Under-8 level through the club’s development center, has risen through the ranks at Cobham.
The young goalkeeper made an impact during the 2023/24 season, playing a key role in Chelsea’s Under-18 team, which clinched the Premier League South title.
Chelsea sent their best wishes to Crampton as he embarks on this new chapter with Bournemouth.
“We wish Kai all the best as he embarks on the next chapter of his career,” the statement read.
In another update, Chelsea also confirmed that Dutch defender Aniek Nouwen has signed a contract extension with the club’s women’s team, keeping her at Stamford Bridge until the summer of 2026.
Nouwen, who originally joined Chelsea in 2021, expressed her gratitude after securing the new deal.
“I am very grateful for this extension and the trust.
I am looking forward to returning to action and continuing my journey,” said the 25-year-old.
