Activist lawyer Deji Adeyanju has expressed his disappointment with President Bola Tinubu’s decision not to release Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
Adeyanju criticized Tinubu for continuing the approach of former President Muhammadu Buhari, stating that it was a missed opportunity to make a positive change.
In a post on X, Adeyanju wrote, “Tinubu should have released Nnamdi Kanu a long time ago.”
He further emphasized the difference between criticism and leadership, arguing that it is easier to criticize than to govern effectively.
He pointed out that many critics often fail as leaders, citing examples from both around the world and within Africa.

Catholics in Benue Pray and Ask God to Bring Peace and End the Killings

Catholics across Benue State came together on Thursday in a heartfelt prayer walk, seeking God’s help for peace to return to the troubled region.
