Nigerian superstar Ayodeji Balogun, famously known as Wizkid, has been recognized as Africa’s highest earner on Spotify.
According to Chart Masters, a renowned platform for tracking music statistics, Wizkid stands out with a remarkable monthly earning of $1 million on Spotify.
The list of Africa’s top ten Spotify earners is taken by Nigerian artists. South Africa’s rising star Tyla, known for her hit “Water,” is the only non-Nigerian to make the list.

Davido Says His Wealth Comes from God, Not from Investments

Afrobeats star Davido has shared that his kind of wealth isn’t something that can be achieved through investments.
Davido, whose father is Nigerian billionaire Deji Adeleke, said his level of success comes only through divine blessings.
In a video posted on Instagram by Cubana Chief Priest, Davido and his friend were seen relaxing in what’s rumored to be Adeleke’s new private jet.
“My type of wealth can’t be obtained through investment,” Davido said with a smile. Cubana Chief Priest quickly agreed, adding, “Yeah, no!”
Davido then added, “It can only be obtained through God’s blessings,” before laughing.

Renowned Nigerian DJ and producer, Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, is set to headline a major event at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this weekend.
In a recent post on her X handle, she shared an interaction where someone inquired about her current DJ activities. She responded by revealing her upcoming performance, stating, “I will be DJing for over 62,000 people.”
This event marks a significant milestone in DJ Cuppy’s career, reflecting her dedication and prominence in the music industry. Her performance will take place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, a venue known for hosting major concerts and events.
Notably, the stadium has previously announced performances by international artists such as 50 Cent, Mary J. Blige, and Davido, who are scheduled to perform on July 3, 2025.
