Ruben Amorim Warns Manchester United Players and Fans to Brace for Tough Times

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has urged fans to brace themselves for challenging times, declaring he will not alter his approach despite the team’s struggles.
Speaking after a disappointing 3-1 loss to Brighton at Old Trafford, the Portuguese coach made it clear that both players and supporters must endure this tough period as the club works to find stability.
Brighton dominated the match, with Yankuba Minteh striking early in the 5th minute, followed by Kaoru Mitoma and Georginio Rutter in the 60th and 76th minutes, respectively.
Addressing the media in a post-match press conference, the 39-year-old Amorim reaffirmed his commitment to his philosophy, regardless of the mounting pressure.
“I’m not going to change how I see the game. That’s non-negotiable,” he said. “The players will suffer, and the fans are going to suffer too. I’m really sorry, but this is the only way I know how to build a team.”
Amorim emphasized that patience is key as the club navigates this rocky phase. “We need to survive this moment.
Everyone knows what we’re working toward—fans, the board, everyone. I’ve been clear about my approach from the start, and I’m sticking with it.”

Chelsea Reject Arsenal’s First Offer for Young Goalkeeper Freddy Bernal

Chelsea have turned down Arsenal’s opening offer for promising England U-18 goalkeeper Freddy Bernal. According to Fabrizio Romano, the Blues showed no interest in entertaining the initial £1.25 million bid, making it clear they want to hold on to the young talent.
Despite the rejection, Arsenal are expected to return with an improved offer as they continue their push for the highly-rated shot-stopper. Chelsea, however, remain determined to keep Bernal at Stamford Bridge, where he’s seen as one for the future. Romano also mentioned that other clubs are keeping tabs on the young keeper’s situation.

Lamine Yamal Mocks Bellingham After Barcelona’s 4-3 Win Against Real Madrid

Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal took a cheeky jab at Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham after his side’s thrilling 4-3 victory over Los Blancos in Sunday’s El Clasico.
Before the match, Barcelona had suffered a Champions League exit to Inter Milan, which led to some Real Madrid players, including Bellingham and club legend Sergio Ramos, showing support for Inter’s Alessandro Bastoni by liking his celebratory post on social media.
But Yamal had the last word after Barcelona’s win. The 17-year-old took to Instagram with a playful message, saying “like this one too” alongside a winking emoji. He posted a photo of himself mimicking a famous Cristiano Ronaldo celebration from 2012, when Ronaldo’s goal sealed a 2-1 win for Real Madrid over Barcelona after a crushing 5-0 defeat earlier that season.
Yamal’s goal, along with efforts from Eric Garcia and Raphinha, secured the victory for Barcelona, while Kylian Mbappé’s hat-trick wasn’t enough for Madrid.

Lamine Yamal Scores as Barcelona Win 4-3 Against Real Madrid

Barcelona boss Hansi Flick praised Lamine Yamal for his mature display in their thrilling 4-3 victory over Real Madrid on Sunday. The 17-year-old forward impressed once again, helping push the Catalan side closer to the LaLiga title.
Yamal netted Barcelona’s second goal with a sharp finish into the corner of the net just inside the box, turning the game around after they had gone two goals down to an early Kylian Mbappé brace. By halftime, Barça were up 4-2. Though Mbappé later completed his hat-trick, Barcelona managed to hang on for the win at the Olympic Stadium, putting them seven points ahead of Madrid with only three matches left.
Speaking after the match, Flick dismissed any notion of Yamal being too young for the moment. “He’s not just a kid,” the coach said. “He’s confident, smart, and knows what he’s doing out there. That goal brought us back into the game and showed just how much quality he has at only 17. That’s exactly what we expect from him.”
