Rita Edochie Says the World Wishes for a President Like Donald Trump
Veteran Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has stirred attention with her bold claim that the world wishes it had a leader like Donald Trump, particularly following his inauguration.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Edochie celebrated Trump’s leadership. She shared how her backing for Trump during the US presidential election had led to backlash, with critics often labeling her “Mama Trump.”
In her message, she described Trump as an “angel,” praying for him to have the wisdom to tackle the challenges facing the United States as he begins his second term in office.
She wrote: “The entire world wishes they had someone like Donald Trump as their president.”
Edochie also expressed hope for the future, wishing for a Nigerian leader with qualities similar to Trump’s to someday take office. She added, “I do wish a man in the likeness of Trump be sworn into the Nigerian Executive Offices one day.”
Nigerian actor Tobi Makinde has reacted to rumours circulating about his relationship with Funke Akindele.
It can be noted that reports claimed the two were no longer on speaking terms and had grown apart.
However, the actor has dismissed the rumours, stating that nothing has changed between them and that social media is making assumptions.
“Nothing really happened between me and Madam Funke, and I am not aware of any fallout. Social media likes constructing their own script, and when they are done, they start looking for people to fill in the character they want.”
Nigerian singer Ayra Starr has shared her views on faith and religion. She explained that her relationship with God is personal and not solely based on church attendance, but something she works on daily.
“I can only try to be as perfect as Jesus is. I am not there yet, but I’m trying my best. I have a very close relationship with God and the Holy Spirit, and it doesn’t come with me only being in church.”
She added “Everything that comes with religion can feel limiting. I have found a way that works for me, and I am fine with it for now.”
Popular rapper Cardi B has issued a strong warning to individuals who stole and used her credit card.
It can be noted that the rapper had earlier expressed her frustration on social media after discovering her card was stolen and used before it could be frozen.
She later revealed that the stores where the transactions occurred captured clear images of the suspects, and she intends to pursue justice.
“I got clear pictures of you all in Saks and in Apple. One thing about me is that I don’t play with my money. You all are going to jail,”.
