Victor Osimhen Accused of Punching Journalist After Night Out in Istanbul

Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, is facing accusations of physically assaulting a journalist during a late-night outing in Istanbul, Turkey.
Currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, the incident occurred as Osimhen was leaving an entertainment venue with friends.
According to the Turkish newspaper Posta, a group of reporters, including journalist Tolga Bozduman, attempted to take pictures of the Nigerian forward.
The situation quickly escalated when flashes from cameras startled Osimhen, prompting him to charge at the group.
Bozduman recounted the incident, saying, “I was filming Osimhen at the door with three of my colleagues. When the flashes went off, all hell broke loose. He rushed towards me screaming and tried to grab my camera.
I managed to hold onto it, but he then threw a punch that hit me in the head. My right side still hurts. He started sweating and then offered to pay me to delete the footage. When I refused, he threatened me, saying, ‘I’ll destroy you.”

However, a random lady commented on the post, issuing a warning about counterfeit perfumes. She asked Opeyemi for his perfume plug to verify their authenticity or confirm if he had been scammed.
Her comment read: “Hi Opeyemi, who is your perfume plug? This is not me trying to be funny, but they are selling fakes to you in case you’re unaware. I work with Floraïku and I’ve unboxed 8 of their perfumes directly from the brand. This isn’t their packaging—this looks fake.”
