Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Tems has become a part of Major League Soccer side San Diego FC’s ownership group, making history as the first African woman to hold a stake in an MLS club.

San Diego FC announced that Tems joined through her company, The Leading Vibe, as a club partner.

The club’s chairman, Sir Mohamed Mansour, expressed excitement over the partnership, highlighting her global influence and connection to Africa through the Right to Dream initiative.
