South Korean Actress Kim Sae-ron Found Dead at Home at Age 24
South Korean actress Kim Sae-ron, known for her roles in “A Brand New Life”, “Bloodhounds” and “The Man from Nowhere,” was found dead at her home in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, on February 16, 2025.
A friend discovered her body and alerted the authorities. Police are investigating the cause of her death but have found no signs of foul play.
Kim began her acting career at the age of nine, earning international acclaim for her performance in “A Brand New Life” (2009).
She continued to build her career with notable roles in films like “The Man from Nowhere” (2010) and “The Neighbor” (2012). In 2023, she appeared in the Netflix series “Bloodhounds.”
In May 2022, Kim was involved in a drunk driving incident in Seoul’s Gangnam District, which led to significant public backlash and a pause in her career. She was fined 20 million won in April 2023 for the incident.
