“I Wish Liverpool Had a Full-Back Like Jurrien Timber” – Carragher Says

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has admitted he wishes the Reds had an Arsenal player in their squad ahead of their crucial clash with Manchester City on Sunday.
He also suggested that Arsenal’s manager, Mikel Arteta, would love to have a Liverpool attacker in his team.
Writing in his column, Carragher pointed out Arsenal’s struggles in attack, saying Arteta would no doubt want a player like Cody Gakpo, whose 16 goals this season have been underrated.
On the other hand, he mentioned Liverpool’s defensive concerns, stating he has long called for reinforcements and would love to see a full-back like Jurrien Timber in the squad.
With recent injuries to Joe Gomez and Conor Bradley, Liverpool’s defensive depth has been tested, though their first-choice back four remains intact—something Arsenal can’t say about their attacking options.

Osimhen Reportedly Says “Yes” to Galatasaray Move

Napoli forward Victor Osimhen has reportedly given the green light to a permanent switch to Turkish giants Galatasaray. This update was shared by Nigerian journalist Buchi Laba, who is known to have close ties with the Super Eagles striker.
In a post on X, Laba claimed Osimhen has said “yes” to Galatasaray and is eager to continue his career with the club. According to him, Napoli has been trying to convince the striker to stay, but Osimhen has made it clear he’s ready to move on.
Negotiations between Napoli and Galatasaray are now said to be focused on finalizing the payment for Osimhen’s release clause.

Osimhen Interested in Galatasaray Move as Club Sends Team to Nigeria to Push Deal

Victor Osimhen is said to be in good spirits as Turkish club Galatasaray step up their efforts to sign him permanently this summer. A fresh report by Turkish journalist Kağan Dursun suggests that Galatasaray’s vice-president, Abdullah Kavukcu, has taken bold steps to move the deal forward.
A representative was reportedly sent to Nigeria to engage with Osimhen directly and also held talks at the Turkish Consulate, hinting at serious intent from the club. Dursun explained that these moves aren’t random, saying Kavukcu wouldn’t travel to Italy to meet with Napoli or send someone to Nigeria unless there were meaningful discussions already underway.
He noted that Osimhen has shown clear interest, saying the player has given a “green light” to Galatasaray. But that doesn’t mean a final decision has been made. “Osimhen is currently leaning toward Galatasaray, but if a top club or a wealthy Middle Eastern side comes in with a huge offer, things could shift quickly,” he added.
Osimhen is still tied to Napoli, but Galatasaray are pushing hard to lock down the Super Eagles star while he remains open to talks.
