Zendaya has officially joined the cast of “Shrek 5,” lending her voice to Felicia, the teenage daughter of Shrek and Fiona.

This exciting addition to the animated was unveiled in a teaser released by Universal Pictures and DreamWorks Animation.

The film is slated for a December 23, 2026 release, coinciding with the 25th anniversary of the original “Shrek” movie.

In the teaser, fans are reintroduced to familiar characters: Shrek (voiced by Mike Myers), Fiona (Cameron Diaz), and Donkey (Eddie Murphy). The clip offers a glimpse into the dynamic between Shrek and his daughter, Felicia.

In one humorous scene, Felicia reacts with typical teenage embarrassment upon discovering an old, unflattering photo of her father, exclaiming, “Ew, dad!”

Zendaya’s casting as Felicia brings a fresh perspective to the series. Known for her versatile performances in projects like “Spider-Man” and “Euphoria,” her involvement is expected to resonate with both new and longtime fans.

Interestingly, Zendaya has previously expressed her affection for the “Shrek” series.
