Controversial singer Portable has warned that anyone who defames him will face legal consequences.

The artist, whose real name is Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, made the statement in a viral video. It was made after his recent arrest over a defamation case involving fuji legend Saheed Osupa.

Portable, who was briefly remanded at Oke Kura Correctional Centre in Ilorin, made it clear that he now fully understands the weight of defamation charges and wonโ€™t hesitate to press charges against anyone who tries to tarnish his name.

โ€œAnyone who talks bad about me will be arrested,โ€ he said. โ€œTheyโ€™ve done it to me, and Iโ€™ll do it to others too. No mercy.โ€ He was later released on bail after Saheed Osupa decided to withdraw the petition.

Justin Bieber has shut down rumours suggesting heโ€™s gone broke. The 31-year-old pop star, through a statement from his team on Wednesday, dismissed the claims as nothing but โ€œclickbait stupidity.โ€

He believes the false reports are coming from people who are bitter because theyโ€™re no longer a part of his team.

The response was triggered by a Hollywood Reporter article where a former team member alleged that Bieber was deep in debt.

This comes after the Justice World Tour was scrapped following repeated postponements linked to his health challenges.

Speaking to Us Weekly, Bieberโ€™s reps fired back, saying the story was based on unverified claims from people who clearly donโ€™t know what theyโ€™re talking about.

They added that Justin is focused on moving forward and staying on the right path, and no amount of gossip will shake that.

The tour, which was meant to kick off in 2020, faced multiple delays โ€” first because of COVID-19, and later due to Bieberโ€™s battle with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which caused temporary facial paralysis. By March 2023, the rest of the tour dates were officially cancelled.
