Maria João Diogo, wife of Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim, is reportedly struggling to adjust to life in Manchester after moving from Lisbon.

She married Amorim in 2013 and relocated to England with their two children when he took over as United’s manager in November.

However, according to reports, she is finding it hard to settle into the city’s gloomy weather, with the constant rain, wind, and dark nights proving to be a challenge.

Maria, a successful interior designer and businesswoman, is not the first to struggle with life in Manchester.

Ángel Di María’s wife, Jorgelina Cardoso, famously disliked the city during his short stint at Old Trafford, and now it seems Maria is facing similar difficulties.
